1.
 | At class time (don't call early, but you can be a couple of minutes late), pick up your telephone and dial the assigned bridge line. Call from a quiet location and please don't use a cellular or speaker phone as they often create distracting sounds. If you have a mute button, use it if there are distracting noises from your location. |
| 2. | After one ring you'll be automatically connected to the phone bridge. If there is no connection, hang -up and call right back; if you get a busy signal, try again. (some phone bridges are getting over-loaded lately, therefore, it is a good idea to call in on time). |
| 3. | Please be silent and wait for the instructor to welcome you. She'll say something like: "Welcome, who just joined the call?" You then state your name and where you are calling from: ("HI, I'm Laurie from Boston). If you call in after the call has started, you may not be welcomed but feel free to speak up (as in #4 below). |
| 4. | During the call, feel free to speak up and share as appropriate. Whenever you talk, state your name first and then your comment: (eg. "This is Beth and I think..........") |
| 5. | Please stay on the call until the end of the hour (whenever someone hangs up there is a ring). If you do have to leave early let the instructor/class know ahead of time.
