<Hi Laurie--
<Hi Laurie,
<One of the things Julia Butterfly Hill said in a lecture she gave
a UT last semester is (this is not a complete - direct quote - but it was
something like this) "when we get upset or angry about an issue, an injustice,
instead of blamming or laying the guilt on someone else - JBH said when
she was up in the tree she found herself pointing her fingers at the loggers
- the lumber company staff - this was all their fault - what she realized
over time was everytime we point our fingers at someone there are three
fingers pointing back at us. (try it point your finger at something - your
2nd, 3rd, and 4th finger are pointing at you) There are always three things
we can do to make a difference - instead of placing the blame on everyone
else." - JBH
